This hose connector was designed to connect the cleaner’s hose assembly to the regulator valve and it can do this because both ends of this hose connector are female so that way it can attach to the male ends of these parts.

The connector is white and 4 inches in length which help with the hose assembly’s movement as the regulator valve sits down into the bottom of your pool’s skimmer. Without this connector, the potential for the impediment of the hose as the cleaner operates or damage to the skimmer would be at high risk.
