Pentair Kreepy Krauly Legend and Legend II Sweep Hose – Adjustment Screw (370198)

The sweep hose adjustment screw is a replacement part made by Pentair. The same high-grade materials were used for the original factory part. Making it a trusted and genuine OEM product.

This adjustment screw was designed to be a part of the sweep hose set and its job is to allow you to adjust the amount of high-pressure water that comes from the feed mast and is dispersed through the sweep hose and out of its end. This gives the sweep hose the power to sweep back and forth just like a broom, agitating the dirt and debris that lies on the surface of your pool so that way the cleaner can make its way over the top to suck and pull up these items leaving behind a crystal clear look in its path.

This part is metallic while the barb is white to match the color of the cleaner, you can find both parts on the backside of the cleaner near the thrust jet making it easy to locate if needing to be replaced. Great troubleshooting tip if you’re having issues with the sweep hose spraying a lot of water out of the pool on to the deck, windows, or any other objects or persons as the cleaner reaches the surface of the water, would be to use the adjustment screw on the barb to adjust the amount of pressure coming out the hose.
