Polaris Vac-Sweep 380 / 360 / 280 / 280 TankTrax / 180 Pressure Cleaner Float, Head (A20)

The float is a replacement part made by Polaris. It is a genuine OEM part for these pressure-side cleaner models. This means it is made from the same high-grade material and can perform the same tasks. 

This floating head was designed to provide balance to the cleaner. This ensures that the cleaner can perform its tasks in cleaning up the surface of your pool. Without this floating head, the cleaner would not be able to climb the walls or steps and would be weighed down to the surface. This will reduce the range and cleaning abilities.

This part is white and sits atop the backside of the feed pipe where it can provide the balance needed for the cleaner to perform. Great troubleshooting tip, if the cleaner is weighed down or operating abnormally, could mean that the floating head is leaking or compromised. This will cause it to fill with water making it ineffective and needing to be replaced.
